428928 Hypertherm Smart Sync cartridge for drag cutting 30-45 Amp fine cutting application. Pack of one.

Fine cut cartridge produces a narrower kerf on thin mild steel and stainless steel up to 3mm (10 gauge) which is ideal for fine detail cutting.

3045 A fine cut hand cartridges are compatible with, Smart Sync torches for the Powermax 65/85/105 Sync systems.

They can also be used on Duramax torches using a torch adapter (428951) for powermax 45XP/65/85/105 systems; however, data storage and cartridge ID are not compatible with Duramax torches.

Smart Sync cartridges are colour coded for ease of identification- Yellow- Drag Cutting, Green- Gouging, Grey- Mechanized Cutting, Black- Flush cut.

The cartridge stores information on its usage within its own internal chip, including arcs starts, transfers and hours used, this can be read by fitting the cartridge to the Smart Sync torch, info is then displayed on the power source screen. Alternatively, the data can be read by using the optional 528083 cartridge reader and smart phone app.

Using the new range of Hypertherm Smart Sync Cartridges improves consumable life by allowing all parts used in the traditional 5-piece stack up to wear at equal rates. Using a combination of part worn and new consumables on the same cutting torch reduces the overall life of the consumable stack.

The cartridge replaces the 5-piece stack used on alternative plasma cutting systems.
