Metabo final finishing polishing paste, Blue 250g for high gloss finishing of metals, well suited for mirrror finishing of stainless steel.

This metabo blue polishing paste 623524000 is used in conjunction with the metabo soft cotton polishing mops 623509000, for the final finishing stage of polishing stainless steel. The paste lubricates and cools the mops which stops discolouration of stainless steel and stops mop burnout, leaving a high gloss finish one the steel hhas been prepared in the cutting and intermediate stages.

These waxy bars have a very tiny amount of fine abrasive particles to aid the stainless steel polishing process and to lubricate the mop to stop dry burnout.

Role in the Polishing ProcessStainless steel polishing typically follows a multi-stage progression:

Cutting Stage (Sisal Mops): For removing heavy scratches or 240–600 grit marks, very hard Sisal Mops are used with heavy cutting compounds.

Intermediate Stage (Hard Stitched Cotton Mops): Once the surface is flat, stitched cotton mops are used to remove the "dull" finish left by sisal. They provide the rigidity needed to apply enough pressure to generate heat and refine the metal's surface. use Metabo brown soap

Final Finishing (Loose Leaf Mops): For a high-gloss or mirror finish, the process transitions to Loose Cotton Mops, which are unstitched and much softer, allowing them to follow contours without leaving visible streaks.
