This is a genuine Hypertherm 428147 plasma torch body replacement part and within the kit are replacement screws to mount the torch to the mounting sleeve 428145, the screw that holds the Cap sensor switch 228720 and the screw that connects the pilot arc lead. This is for a Powermax 125 plasma cutter Hyamp mechanised torch.

Generally the brass thread wears over time with constant fitting and removal of the retaining cap.

It is advisable to also change the mounting sleeve 428145 when replacing the main body as both can wear equally over time with constant use.

The mounting sleeve generally becomes brittle with the heat of the plasma arc and can often fail when removed from the torch body.
