Welding Lead Information


• The welding cable and electrode holder should be of sufficient size for the welding machine it is being used with.

• Undersized cable or attachments can result in overheating and can lead to a failure

• 35-50 cable connections are found on most good quality welding sets (Please see image below for sizing)

• Welding leads are part of the electrical circuit, if the leads become damaged it can cause issues with the welding arc ultimately resulting in sub standard weld quality.
