The quick release allows the operator to change the mitre angle in seconds. The BS-350M can operate in two different modes; manual or controlled descent. With this model band saw there is a controlled descent mode that allows you to control the rate at which the head drops through your material.
When using the saw in manual mode, you activate the trigger and move the blade through the material by pulling down on the handle.

The blade on this band saw is very heavy duty and is 1 inch wide . A dual blade guide system is incorporated on this band saw. Rollers followed by carbide pads are employed to add rigidity and beam strength to the saw, increasing the accuracy of the cuts.
