Description

HMT VersaDrive ImpactaTap® M24 x 3.0mm galvanising impact tap produces an oversize thread, perfect for use prior to sending steelwork to the galvernisers, the oversized thread then compensates for the increased thickness the coating produces on galvernised steelwork and galvernised fixings.

VersaDrive galvernising impact taps can be used with an impact wrench and taps holes up to 15 times faster than when using a hand tap wrench, the Holemaker Technology (HMT) VersaDrive system allows the tapping bit to be used not only in an impact wrench but also in any reversible drill with a 1/2" chuck and any hand tap wrench.
